But to answer your question, you can hike anything, but not necessarily any hiking trails.

Trust me don't combine events. You're either taking her hiking or 4Wheeling. If you are going to introduce her to 4Wheeling then give her a heads up and don't switcheroo.

My neighbor and his girl came with me 4Wheeling last year and had a great time. But she also knew what to expect.

Considering the fact that I didn't make it up either time when it was dry, and it's going to be all muddy and slick this time... hell yeah, why not.

Addressing the whole gf situation again, as Connor said, while you can hike things there, there's nothing there specifically for hiking. All she would be doing is walking up a trail we would normally drive up... lol.

And as Brian touched on, if she thinks she's going there to hike and we get out there and are only wheeling, she's probably not going to like it, and it might even leave a bad taste in her mouth for future wheeling plans, so I would advise against that.

However, it's your gf, you know her best, so if she's the type of girl that can just go with the flow and have fun doing anything, go for the ol' switcharoo if you have to. But from the sounds of it, she's not that type of girl, or you wouldn't be having to say it's a hiking trip in the first place haha.

With that out of the way, let's get a head count going for tomorrow.

So I may be out, my mom buying a new car and she wants me to go just invade she needs a co signer. If I come back early I'll meet you guys on the trail.
 
Man I'm so ****in pissed off right now. I waited all ****in day for Emily to call me and tell me anything and she ended up telling me that she already made plans even though we were planning this for a week.

Sorry about missing out guys, I've been itching to get offroad and I got a little bit in a fiesta island. Wasn't enough though.

Funny story guys, I actually took her just now, to check the conditions of the trails and such.

It's still an easy trail, a couple spots are a bit rockier, and other spots are slippery. 4WD is required, probably should air down too if you don't have lockers. Tons of puddles to haul ass through.

So we're just driving around finding puddles and then I found a little area with 3 huge 2 car length puddles. The last one is about 4 car lengths. so for the biggest one, I went slow, 1st gear, 4 Low, diff locked. Almost hydro locked. Water came over the hood, water line was above my 33" tires. Front of the car felt like it was floating. Car swam out like a champ. Popped the hood and found water in the air box, luckily it didn't go farther then that. Sunday I'll point it out so we avoid it.

Crap dude. I was trying to get my friends all together and one guy wasn't responding so I had to drive to his house. I think we just missed you guys because I saw 2 4runners driving past water tower as we were on another trail.

Looks like you guys had tons of fun though.

Ironically the cleanest looking thing on Conner's mud covered truck are those bronze wheels - lol.

Trevor, I wouldn't worry too much about the girl. I know this sounds cliche but its true for most of us. When I was 20-24 I spent so much time worrying and caring about finding and keeping a gf. Then at 24+ I finally stopped caring about finding or keeping girls AT ALL, just focused on myself and my friends and then I met more and cooler girls then ever. If that girl flaked on you that sucks but sometimes girls in their 20s do that kind of stuff. Three strikes your out rule?
