Head EAST (from I-5S-Left, from I-5N-Right)

At first light turn RIGHT into shopping center
Enter and turn RIGHT at T-intersection into SOUTH parking lot.

Definitely do-able. If I drive all the way up to Carlsbad I'll probably go and get some grub in Encinitas.
To bad the meet up isn't 9-11am. Some of us like to get some sleep on Sunday.

It's every Saturday actually, but I know what you mean. It's a meet that already exists and I've been going to it for a while. Would be kind of cool to get some other 4Runner's there too.

I'd make the trek down to Carlsbad if there was some wheeling involved afterwards. I'm not too familiar with any trails that far south.

Everything is optional in those photos except this line
Which is still easy easy easy. Lots of offshoots to play around in. I've done it in hard hard rain with no problems.
