Hell yeah man this should be good. I'm trying to convince my girl to come with haha. How do I do that?

I'm smooth with the ladies, so follow my advice, word for word, and she'll be begging you to come along.
So start off the conversation like: "Listen here, woman. As my girlfriend, I expect certain things from you. One, (this is a PG forum, so I'm not going to type it out, but you should have a good idea of what your supposed to say for this). Two, I expect you to like what I like, and do what I tell you to do, when I tell you to do it. And with that said, I expect you to go out wheeling with me and my internet buddies on Sunday. We're gonna get a little loud, get a little muddy, and you're going to love every minute of it. Capiche?"
Say that, word for word, and she'll... well, you'll get a result, let's just say that.

Well if its her first trip in a 4Runner off road outing I'd suggest you take her on a nice day drive, picnic, and hike somewhere like Anza-B or Palomar Mountain. Make it sound like an adventure. .... going somewhere other people can't go.
Then the 2nd time you take her out in the truck introduce her to the wild, driving over a bunch of crazy ass stuff with a bunch of strangers at the 4x4 park.

I remember this one time my friends and I took a trip to guitar center back in Texas, it was a beautiful sunny day not a cloud to be seen. When we got there to guitar center it started raining when we were leaving. Soon the roads became flooded and my friends corolla couldn't do it anymore, so we had to go to the HEB (local grocery store) and stop for the day. When we were walking in there were points in the parking lot that the water came up past our ankles. We were stranded in the store for 5 hours till the storm passed and the water drained hahaha yes very very good times. There was a person doing tai chi in the electronics department, it was a very strange day though haha. Man makes me miss that shit.
On a side note my girlfriend said she would like like to go, though I did bend the truth just a wee bit. Told her we were going "hiking".

Last time I took a girl up to Deer Springs that hasn't wheeled before, she did her best to leave her claw marks in my leg on even the normal parts of the trail. And I had to deal with the classic "You're not going to go up that, are you?!?! Can't you just go around?!" all night.
Good news is, if she pulls that on you, you can tell her to get out and walk along side the 4runner, and then she'll get her "hike" in, as promised :lmao:

And we need to set a meet up time for Sunday (I work Saturday, so won't be able to make C&C). According to the forecast, the wind and rain will calm down as the day goes on, so I'm thinking a noon meet up at the usual spot?

If by complicated you mean, are the trails hard, then yes and no. There's offshoots that I won't even try, but those are offshoots (optional). The main trail really doesn't have many hard parts to it, and I've been with stock 4runners that have done the regular trail, and some of the optional stuff, just fine.
But if by complicated you mean, is it one trail in, one trail out, impossible to get lost in? Then no lol. There's a ton of trails weaving around there, so someone that's been there before should really lead the group so we don't get lost (and even then, sometimes we get a little turned around).

Funny story guys, I actually took her just now, to check the conditions of the trails and such.
It's still an easy trail, a couple spots are a bit rockier, and other spots are slippery. 4WD is required, probably should air down too if you don't have lockers. Tons of puddles to haul ass through.
So we're just driving around finding puddles and then I found a little area with 3 huge 2 car length puddles. The last one is about 4 car lengths. so for the biggest one, I went slow, 1st gear, 4 Low, diff locked. Almost hydro locked. Water came over the hood, water line was above my 33" tires. Front of the car felt like it was floating. Car swam out like a champ. Popped the hood and found water in the air box, luckily it didn't go farther then that. Sunday I'll point it out so we avoid it.
