MEGARUN 2010 Photos - BMRA-GILMER,TEXAS

Some of us had a blast this last weekend at the Megarun 2010 event at the Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area, Gilmer, Texas. Weather was perfect, but we still had to deal with some mud from earlier rains, as you will see in some of the photos. I had the pleasure of meeting Ben (aka Kaiser) from the forum with his friend Nick. I had the need to use my winch twice on the trails - both times were to pull out a stuck Jeep - LOL.

Of course its MY pleasure meeting yourself and Austin?, had a blast, look forward to meeting up with you again. Sure did surprise some people with the runners didnt we? I know I surprised my own passenger lol, do have any pics from sunday? If so could you email them to me.

Yes there are a few from Sunday, but the camera was messing up for Austin so he didn't take that many. Guess I forgot to add them. And on the 4runners, everytime I go wheeling with a bunch of Jeeps, they are amazed at where they will go, sometimes where the Jeeps won't go. Glad you and Nick had fun and I look forward to seeing you on the trails again.

Looks like a fun event. I was kinda bummed at the condition of the park when I went there for the Toyota Jamboree. Has Clyde's Ravine been completely closed?
