Jason B said:Hand. Call me crazy but I have the Porter Cable buffer and don't use it. You can't get in all the tight spots with the buffer and by the time you get it out, do the big areas, then do the tight areas by hand, it take too long.
I kinda like doing it by hand, a more personal touch. Don't take that the wrong way, hehe.
Is it so bad to get up-close-and-personal with your ride?
I can do it pretty quick by hand.
Techenigma said:Alot of professional detailers recommend not using machines... alot of the time the pads absorb way to much of the product and it ends up being wasted. That and it may take a bit longer but by hand yields a better result and its more thorough. I'm a by hand man, always have been and always will be.
