Once it has a chance to cure and you hand wash with Car Soap, it makes the paint really stand out.

Alot of professional detailers recommend not using machines... alot of the time the pads absorb way to much of the product and it ends up being wasted. That and it may take a bit longer but by hand yields a better result and its more thorough. I'm a by hand man, always have been and always will be.

If the paint was in ok shape then I would do it by hand but if you need to work it a little bit (i.e. a lot of swirls or scratches) the porter cable is better and quicker.
