Memory Seat function not working - Help Needed

Hi,

New to the forum, so I hope this is being placed in the correct area..

I just bought a used 2006 Toyota 4Runner Ltd V8 and am loving it...

I have found that the Drivers memory seat function is not working.

Have tried the normal stuff so far with the engine running and vehicle in park.

I have pushed the "Set" button and held it and then pressed the number "1" and it would not beep. Then tried the same thing with "2". Neither worked.

What should I check as I am not sure how this is actually set up to work with the seat? Is there a fuse that may be blown?

Many thanks for any help that can be given..

bringing this back to the top for help. im having this issue now. all the fuses have been checked.

tried the follow per google AI but this did not work.

Re-initialize (Recalibrate) the Seat:

1. The seat computer may "forget" its limits and disable memory functions until it is recalibrated.
2. The Full Range Reset: Move the driver's seat all the way forward until it stops, then all the way back until it stops.
3. Tilt/Height Reset: Move the seat to its highest position, lowest position, and recline the backrest fully forward and backward.
4. Confirmation: You may hear a beep during this process; once the seat has reached all its physical limits, the system should allow you to save new positions.
