Hey LINY, what'd you do about the upper fin where it connects to the badge oval? I bought an '01-02 grille with the intent of doing something similar (no chrome, though), but when I look at that middle-top fin, it looks like it would be difficult to cut around the badge oval without making a mess. Do you have a close-up of yours?

i cut mine horizontally across the top of the oval section, and sanded it down to smooth it out. if you want you could fiber glass over it to make it look like a solid piece.
