Metra ASWC harness and 4Runner controls

I finally got my steering wheel controls working with my aftermarket HU thanks to the Metra ASWC box and the Toyota specific harness. Only problem is my steering wheel buttons are acting funny. With my factory head unit, I had volume up/down, preset up/down (or seek if held down for a second) and mode buttons when listening to the radio. Mode and volume are working fine but it seems when listening to the radio, instead of skipping through presets, the skip button is tuning. Not a huge deal and I'm happy to have my controls working again, but wondering if there's a way to get these buttons working the way they did with the factory HU. Thanks!!

make sure you update the aswc. i had the same problem, also reset it when you plug it back in.

I just installed mine last week and this is driving me nuts! I hate holding it down, sometimes it works sometimes not, and if I do get it to work sometimes it changes 2-3 stations before I can let go.

How do you update it?
