Mikey's Build Thread...

Center hoop only, nice! Have you already checked to see if all the hardware was shipped? Mine wasn't so Jim had to overnight them.

Got the trim pieces painted all ready. Going to let them sit a bit and the bumper goes install will commence Monday! :D

After some fighting with pieces and emails to ShrockWorks the bumper is on! Super happy.

Just waiting on the skid plate.

As you can see the trim pieces still need some work to get them more lined up, and then need to adjust the height a little bit. Then need to crank the coilovers up a small amount.

I like it! I hope to have that same bumper someday. Question. Is there a winch hole under the license plate?

It's really looking good. I'm glad to hear Shrockworks is stepping up.

By the way, I'm curious why you chose to not get the tubing that goes around the headlights?

I like the look of the single hoop, plus did not want to take away from the projector retro fit. Got to show those babies off!

Not yet. I'll do that today.

None of my hardware was shipped, but a missing skid plate? What gets me is there's a checklist included in the box which is signed stating everything has been checked to be included with the shipment?!?

Agreed! Looks great, you'll get everything dialed in the way you want it.

Got a little bling thanks to Icon. Went with the Tacoma shifter because it was not that ugly long thing. Plus the shift knob and transfer case shifter match perfectly.

Mikey I have been agreeing with all of your mods so far, until I saw this. Great call on the Taco shift knob instead of the 4runner...shaft? However, my OCD would never allow me to rock an Icon shift knob when using OW's suspension. I am glad nobody else suffers from this or it prevented you from what you like. I tried to order one myself and I couldn't allow it. If I did manage to put one on order I'd be scratching away at that little bas**** every time I get in the driver's seat.

Looking forward to seeing more...

Now if I could get the little cap with a toyota emblem then I would swap our for sure. It was just the better looking set plus a late night purchase at the spure of the moment.

Installed my new door handles and it is pretty straight forward, Thanks to Sp8Ball's thread. One thing to note is that all the star bolts inside the door have catches, just dont pull on them too hard.

Must say it looks 100% better then the chrome. Hardest part was getting that dang door panels back on! Now just to get my rack...

Dang, looking good! At first I didn't like the look of the single hoop, but it looks real nice on your 4R! The rack will add a nice touch too. After that, what's your next mod? Rear bumper right?

Rear bumper might come first. Have to see about getting a commuter car first though.
