Mikey's Build Thread...

Final piece of the puzzle came today....

Built by CVJ Axles with their high angle red boot on the inner CV and All pros high angle boot on the outer. Very well packaged for shipping including extra clamps.

Cool, I like the allpro kit. Could you take some measurements before and after in terms of wheel travel. Even if it is just as simple as your fender gap with the wheels off the ground before and after...

Really curious where you will need to set the limit straps.. I've heard so much conflicting information on where the CVs will bind....

I will see what I can do come install time, but it might not be until the end of next month unfortunately.

Got Roxy back today and couldn't be happier. Ride is buttery smooth. Can't wait to hit the trails. Now just to get the rear squared away.

Just to tease...

Fantastic.....

What are the road manners like in terms of cornering.

Did you run without a sway bar before?

You got the adjustable coil overs right? Played with that yet?

I've still got this project on my mind. Just focused on my other truck at the moment. I hope to be in Moab on LT up front this spring!

Maybe we could all hook up run some trails out there.

Road manners are good. Smooth ride although there is a bit more roll since the spring rate is softer. But it is nice.

Have been without a front sway bar for quite a while and still am.

Yes these are the Fox Dual Speed Compression adjustable.

Now need to get the rear sorted.

Have you tried increasing the compression dampening to see if that helps with the body roll? Even though the springs are only 600lbs... they should be able to hold up quite a bit more weight due to the change in motion ratio.

I'm curious how much of a difference the adjusters make in terms of body roll on the road.

Haven't played with it much. Sitting in the middle on both high and low speed. I do like the ride. It isn't much more of a roll then before.
