Yeah sold my Tepui too. With the new kid don’t think it is a good idea passing him back and forth to the roof so we have an old fashion ground tent. Will get another RTT down the road, or maybe a trailer.

Well today got a couple hours of wiring time. Got the sPod Bantam installed and hooked up and it is sitting pretty on the Powertray.

This power distribution block makes hooking up switched accessories so easy. Two wires, done!

Locker is hooked up along with some lights. Need to pull wires to make it all simple and clean.

Picked up my Runner for Shaffers, they finished with the front regear and redoing all the brakes. Heading up to Russian River tomorrow to do some small 4wd gear test

How you enjoying your new gears? better gas mileage?

Loving the new gears. Still breaking them in, got another couple hundred miles. Most of my driving has been surface streets, keeping it under 60. So its hard to tell if there is any change in MPG. I would say I will gain because the truck definitely is working less.

How is yours?

Mine great, notice more rpm drop a little more at 70mph, gas millage not sure yet.

Got the LP6s wired up today. Pretty simple cutting up the Baja Designs wire harness. Of course I cut it up for my needs. I have a bad habit of cutting up new stuff.

Anyways....

For comparison LPs versus Vision X light cannon (25 watt).

To the top I go for a split second.

Finally got the Warn VR Evo 12-S installed. Have the control box under the hood with a Vice Design relocation kit for a Ram. It included a bracket that I made work on the passenger side behind the head light. Also included extended cables. Of course put a blue Factor 55 Flatlink E on the end of the line.

Did have to do a little grinding to get it all fitting nicely. But I finally have a winch.

Also started working out the location for the new rock lights. Have the KC Cyclone in diffused one Rago Fab mounts.

Front will go on a bolt from the Shrockworks bumper. Are they unprotected? Well a little but don’t really crawl much these days so I should be good. If they get hit and break, I’ll get a new one.

There will be two on each slider, one to the front tire and one towards the back tire. Then one behind each tire. I plan on having each side wired separately, well because why not, only a push of a button to get them on.

Ran out of time before getting everything done.

How you like the LP 9’s from BD? I bet them suckas are awesome!

For the rock lights up front,
Are you able to fit them a little higher behind the wing of the bumper? That’s where mine are and they shine the front really good. Not sure with the shrockworks though just my recommendation.

The LP6s are amazing. Wasn’t sure if the 9s would fit under the hoop and it would have been close. Don’t get me wrong the 6s are bright enough.

The skid for the washer reservoir gets in the way in the passenger side that’s why I am looking at this spot.

Cool deal on the lights. I don’t like the traditional light bar deal and the LP would be my choice but they’re costly.

That spot should work then. It’s pretty nested in the corner so odds of smashing it against something are low.

Got some wiring time today. Have the driver side all wired up. 4 KC Cyclones in diffused. Very happy with the out put. Just need a couple hours to do the passenger side.

And yes you are getting driveway photos from a cell phone.

Aren’t you glad now that you didn’t sell her. :biggrin2:

You getting a new RTT? I am thinking if I keep my current rack to pickup a iKamper Mini.

Looking good those are small, bright and easy to fit almost anywhere. Good output you will enjoy them. I found easier to measure out wiring around vehicle and then make a daisy chain to connect then once installing. Except for the two fronts. They needed to be separate for headaches sake lol.
