There have been many many injustices done both by the US government and by individuals over the years.
Consider reading "A People's History of The United States" which although some may describe as liberally biased documents many instances of individual farmers and workers from places like Virginia and Texas standing up for their rights against a powerful government influenced by the Rich. These people would describe themselves as conservatives standing up for their rights.
I would also suggest "The Glory and The Dream" on Audible by Manchester. http://www.amazon.com/Glory-Dream-Narrative-History-America/dp/1470887479/ It documents the story of many folks, some liberal, some conservative, spanning the entire rise of the US as a super power. It includes for example first hand accounts of the Bonus Marchers who were WWI Veterans crushed by the US government and ran out of DC by under orders.
Here is video of the US government testing at a medium distance, the exposure effects of radiation from the A-BOMB "Buster-Jangle Charlie" on US troops. This is not a secret. It was just conveniently left out of history class.

I hate this, but I at least partially agree with you.
it certainly looks like he's reaching into his jacket for something. its hard to tell if he's reaching at wounds or what. but clearly reaching.
there was report of the truck being "riddled with bullets" prior to him stopping. im not sure what justification there was, if that's the truth.

This is the second stop. He was stopped at checkpoint. While they were arresting other occupants he jumped BACK into the truck and drove off only to 5 miles later run into this extra precautionary road block. So he already resisted arrest, fleed, and almost ran over a federal agent? But yeah I'm confused where all the other bullet holes would have come from if it is true his truck was riddled with them or if that was just the media again exaggerating? Which I find more believable since no news/reporters were allowed near this and all media interactions were cut off and blocked by local and federal law enforcement.
Can you share the link/source to the "riddled with bullets" info? If that is true (and that is a pretty big if), that would be scandalous. The video looks clear cut to me, and the FBI reports he had a loaded 9mm pistol in the pocket he was reaching for. An armed man who vowed not to be taken alive, not to go to jail, disobeys police commands to surrender then speeds away. He then veers off the road at the roadblock, nearly hitting an officer. He then still refuses to comply, reaches for his pistol. Probably felt he was such a man of his word he couldn't back down.

So she heard? Was this before or after they all huddled down on the floor boards after the driver decided to speed up INTO a police road block after speeding away from the previous one? I mean are they just supposed to let the vehicle drive through? I didn't see any of the other occupants making the driver stop. This isn't like the movies where one magically placed bullet completely stops a vehicle or driver? This is real life and there are consequences.
This clearly was a mentally deranged individual and was putting his life and others in danger and his complete disrespect to LEO's was never going to end well. You can make a stance and prove a point without telling people to just shoot you?

But yeah the "source" or what was reported was just someone saying what they heard? This is usually exaggerated in high adrenaline or life and death scenarios. Not discrediting her, but it does for the writer at least make the article more shock and awe.
The same reason he thought he could confront the FBI and win :redbrick:
