Mingus Mountain Trail Pics

Vortec4800: I live in Phoenix and lived for 4 years in Cottonwood (actually Cornville) when I was in High School, but never knew about this trail. Could you tell me how to get to it?

btw - Any recomendations before I go?

It's right off I-89 between Cottonwood and Jerome. It's actually very hard to find, it's a left-hand turn into what almost looks like a group of houses. If you follow along this dirt road you'll see some golf carts, go along that road and then go left at the pike. That should get you to the trail.

I would suggest going to Barnes & Noble and picking up an Arizona Trails book, that's how I found the trail and it will give you a map to it, as well as directions throughout the trail. Its not a hard trail, just make sure you're not afraid of heights!
