Minor issue but

Just curious if anyone else has had this happen. I just bought my 4runner it’s a 2005 and with 158,000+ miles. The car is in great shape but I have had to replace 8 of the bulbs that light up the dash switches at night. I found this forum when I was looking for reason why only half of the LCD display for the HVAC was lighting up at night. After I replaced those bulbs I started noticing that other switches didn’t light up. The car dealership is reimbursing me for all the light bulbs but I am surprised that so many have burnt out. It’s only 7 years old and aren’t they LED’s which are suppose to last a lot longer that regular bulbs.

stock is non led, you have to do it yourself for leds.

I have an 04 with 120k and have replaced at least 3 or 4 of my dash lights. 7 does sound like kind of a lot, but not impossible.
