Misfires

Would an air or vacuum leak cause a misfire in just one or multiple cylinders?

I really doubt that. It would most likely make your idle funky(hovering idle, too high of an idle ect.). Spray some carb cleaner around the intake mani with engine running and you should find the leak.

My brother's infiniti QX4 started doing that when we changed his spark plugs and cracked the ceramic on them. The spark wasn't traveling all the way to the cylinder and it was Misfiring. Check your spark plugs. Good Luck

It would depend on the location of the leak and the structure of the intake runners. For example. a leak near the port would cause a single misfire, and a leak further upstream could effect multiple cylinders.

have u washed it recently?

i washed my engine and i think... think i dono yet still working on it..... it might be the sparkplug wires that got wet and cyl 4,5 and 6 are misfiring.. on my 1996
