Well I figure I will start as far back to the beginning as possible.

Now to attack the rear

Then the garage dog came by to supervise

She said get back to work

Had a stuck bolt but the Help said thats nothing he couldnt handle lol

parts list for interested people
stock front springs
bilstein adjustable struts
spc uca's
moog lower ball joints
new driver side cv shaft
allpro 3.5 rear springs
Procomp rear shocks(soon to be replaced with bilstein)
1.25" wheel spacers
relocated brake line mounts
diff drop from lowrange
Pieced it all together from multiple vendors to try and save money

Looks awesome! What is your measurement from wheel centerline to fender now? I have same setup on front and yours looks taller. I don't have the new uca's though.

Ive been trying to figure that out myself the struts are set at the 1.75" setting with stock springs

it is rough as heck riding also

Mine is set at max with FJ springs and are not that high. After re-looking at your pics, your front spring seats (the moveable collars) are installed upside down and set at the max height of 2.5".

Well we had moved them shortly afterwards down one but that would make sense on how big of a pain everything was to do the funny part is they came out of the box so I just figured that's how they went.

Thank you for the info and making me feel slightly dumb lol

it looks like they are assembled wrong

Flip the front spring perches. And you should have better ride quality and proper ride height.

Be careful using a press like that. That is a little precarious.

The forum is for learning and sharing ideas. Better to post pictures and get Input the run something unsafe and get hurt.

Most the crew here is solid and constructive. We have a few that are pompous a$$'s and a few kids that think they know everything. But it keeps things interesting.

ya this is my first major ifs lift or modification minus cutting my brother 1st gen 4runner's ifs out and replacing it with a solid axle

So fixed the front struts and threw some of the moog fj coils on in the process she's a Cadillac now thank you guys for the info and help feel much better knowing my wife is driving it. It is still her daily driver until I get her a 5th gen to drive.

Then I'm going crazy solid axles and coil overs

My shocks came with that mount upside down as well. Don't feel bad. I put mine in and checked them 2 weeks later and the drivers side is sitting one notch lower somehow. I guess I hadn't seen it moved. So now I have to fix that. Lol.

Took it around the block and my wife was driving so she hit the speed bumps pretty good and it just ate the up barely even noticed them I'm pretty happy with the results now can't wait to get it in the dirt this weekend
