So what brought to the Tar Heel state? I am in NC about 1-2 hours south of you at Fort Bragg, thou I am due to move myself in July, unless I get one of the 2 jobs I applied for up in Greensboro. There others and they gather frequently. There is a FaceBook page for them. I'll have t find it again.

I got a job offer that I couldn't turn down and we were ready to get out of California that and an old Navy buddy of mine lives in Virginia and has been trying to get me to the east coast for years now.

So I gashed the BFG sidewalls one of the last trips out so wife told me I could get her new tires. So naturally 255/80r17 was not big enough anymore so 285/75r17s replaced them.
As anyone with the minimum lift and biggest tires possible mindset knows I was gonna have to trim.

Took it to Uwharrie and tested out the new tires and as of right now I am loving them.
This I climbing the 1st ledge on the front side of Daniel for anyone that knows uwharrie.

Recently did new brakes and new bushings for the LCA and bilsteins. Oh and also replaced the fj coils with a set of Dobinson springs.
The new springs claim 2.95" lift so I set the bilsteins at the 1/2" setting aiming for around 3.5" of lift.
For anyone interested the Napa replacement bushing for stock shocks fits the bilstein 5100 perfectly.

Sorry I missed this I dont get on here to often anymore. I am running cheap Procomp ES3000 rear shocks had a tight budget to stay in. I can't remember the length on them but I think they are a bit shorter than I would have preferred.

Finally got back on the trail after a year off of wheeling.
Quick Uwharrie trip to run up Daniel and Dickey Bell.
After this trip I'm breaking down and buying myself a father's day Aussie Locker.
