Misguided Missile

I have case with recovery gear in the back of mine 4-R, it weights roughly 30 pounds. The thing is all over the back when I turn. Sounds like damn RPG hiting my truck every time I take fast corner. It seems like an easy fix: store it under cargo net. Since this case is heavy, cargo net can't hold it. For now I have no idea on how to secure it and it's in the garage for now. I do need the gear in the truck for emergency use though. Any Ideas?

I have a a box housing 2 10" subs and I use bungee cords with hooks at the end to weigh it down. I use the tie downs for the child seat on the back of the rear seat and then hook into the bottom of the truck. There are convenient places to hook into for me.

Tie down hooks and bungees

Use the four corner tie down hooks and bungee it down securely. It's how I keep my emergency bag and bike junk bak from moving. I hook the handles on the bags and they don't budge.

Thanks, I'll try that. I think I can secure it on the shelf back there. Just going to tie around it.

I used a Rubbermaid 10-gallon container under the cargo shelf. The container is 8-3/4" tall so it fits under there. To keep stuff from sliding around, I bought a rug gripper at Home Depot.....it's one of the things you put under a rug to keep it form sliding.
