Missing Navigation Voice Commands

I noticed in my new 2007 Toyota Navigation Quick Reference booklet that there are a set of commands for temperature, such as "Raise Temperature" or "72 degrees." My Prius would allow you to command the temperature by voice but the 4runner does not seem to want to.

I don't expect it to because the temperature controls are a separate module, but it's strange that they mention the option in the booklet specifically designed for the 4runner.

:-)

Nope, doesn't have it. I forget what my little booklet manual say and I almost never use the voice command. I pressed a couple times by accident parking and my passengers started to swear at it. :D It's much like IVR systems playing phone tag.

Edit: Left out an important word. I hardly ever use voice command.

That little 4runner handi-guide has typos :-)

the toyota navi seems really sensitive on recognizing the voice. Like when i drive the 4R and say "home", it always bring me the right destination. but when my wife drives it and say "home", it always bring up other places.

but when i use the voice command on my TL, the acura one seems more user friendly and easier to recognize different voices.
