Man, that was a *****. Got the handles swapped but being a Limited made it a challenge. Looks good though.
What was the worst part about doing it? Been thinking about going that route...

Well you know you obviously lose the touch sensors on the handle but you have to undo part of the sensor before removing the handle. Which is a pain. If you disconnect the sensor all together your key fob won't work anymore. As well as the rear hatch lock/unlock buttons. So you need to reconnect the sensor and hide it somewhere but out of the way of the window sliding down. There is a cable you can zip tie it to and that's what I did. Mainly it was a ***** since I didn't know I'd run into this. I didn't realize it till I already buttoned the driver door up and decided to test it after the passenger door.

Yeah. That's what has kept me from that project. The paint I did in flat black looks ok from a distance and when dirty but I'm getting so much pin stripe etc, maybe I'll forgo shiny color matched handles that will be the only shiny left. lol. I like the idea of it though! I can live without the touch. I do like the push to start though.
don't think i can do that, plastic dip will have to do for now.
I've been so used to leaving the keys on me without reaching for it, just touch to open and touch to lock. I'm getting lazy. lol
Going to look sweet with a lift.
May i ask what size rim and what is the offset on those rims?
whats the offset on your new shoes?
I like the look with the 20s
My buddy owns a body shop and he had it cheaper than Camelback Toyota. If you need something, let me know and I can reach out to him.
Can your buddy get cheap trd parts so i can do the trd front grill on my trail? Im in lynnwood so im local if that helps.
You get your new front end pieces yet?
I think limited mag gray/redwood guts + TRD pro look + lift/wheels would be one badass truck. All the amenities of an LE but with the sporty look of the TRD.
