I'm about to replace mine (F and R) and was looking at some cheapies to just throw on there. Looked at Moogs too. I'd expect the rust but would hope that they last a while, especially for mainly on road mileage.Replaced my rear end links with moog 2nd gen. These things rusted in 24 hours.![]()

Good deal! I've been running without my bar for a few weeks so may pull the trigger and pick up a set of Ebay.I resprayed them with roll bar and chassis paint. So far so good.

Looks good. Where did you get that? Were you able to put in the air bag? Was it hard to do?

That wheel looks great. Your whole rig looks great actually. Do you have a link to that wheel?
Thanks.. I watched this wheel for a while and the price just recently dropped

Thats not good but glad you caught it. Out of curiosity, what deadener did you use? I'm paranoid about this as well and tried to make sure all my top portions of CLD where rolled on and flat. Should lessen the chance if not avoid water entrapment.Well I got good news and bad.
Bad is I found some rust on the rear tailgate... saw a spot on the paint. Pulled the rear cover and plastic back. The culprit is what I assume is the sound deadening material and where the water/rain run off is. Basically looks like water was getting trapped between the two.
Decent amount of rust. So I got rid off the effected sound deadening material. I used a dremel to sand and polish down the rust. Several coats of rust Converter. And threw it back together. Hopefully I got far enough ahead to make this a non issue. But I’ll keep an eye out.
