MLK Weekend 1/12-1/15 - Mid-Atlantic Winter Camp Trip

39.08718, -79.54472 Is decent campsite on the loop. Flat enough for 4-5 vehicles spread out in the woods. I would join you but I spent this last weekend with Blue Ridge Overland Gear and I don’t think my family would be happy with another trip.

Thanks for the recommendation! No worries - I was eyeballing your April trip too but the SO can't take any PTO until mid-April so we're grounded till then unfortunately...

Alright everyone, now that we're a few days out, we can start coordinate meeting points and final timelines. We're going to head out a bit earlier than anticipated, probably get to Davis around 7. Forecast is calling for 100% rain that night, so we were just planning on eating dinner at Sirianni's so we wouldn't have to cook in the rain. I'm thinking with dinner at 7, those that didn't want to eat dinner there could just meet us around 8-8:30 and we can head in and set up camp. If nobody has any objections, I'll update the main page and we'll go from there.

I've mainly heard from Geocook, the other yesses and maybe's chime in so we know if there's anybody to wait on.

Other items added to the main post: Comm's will be CB, ideal for a smaller group and more readily owned. If folks feel comfortable PMing phone numbers we can probably coordinate day of meet-ups in an easier fashion. If not, we'll plan to meet as mentioned above.

So it looks like Davis has been put in a winter weather advisory, with temps on Saturday and Sunday forecasting to be in the negatives (*F). Is anybody still shooting to go? We were still looking at going out but may alter our plans/destination if nobody else was going.
