Moab Trip (May 15-18)

I will be taking my 5th Gen down to Moab May 15-18. I just wanted to put this out to see if anybody else will be there during that time and see if anybody would want to hook up to run a trail or two together.

I have been to Moab 4 times with my '98 Tacoma, so I am pretty familiar with the trails. This will be my first wheeling trip with the 5Th Gen, so I will be getting used to its handling differences compared to the truck.

I plan to run Fins N' Things (easy, I know) and Hell's Revenge. Not sure what other trails at this point, but I will figure out along the way. I will be there with a buddy who has a built FZJ 80.

Post up if you are interested in meeting and we can iron out the details later.

Take care, Jason

I have a group of around 20 people that are going with various Jeeps and other 4x4s. If you are interested in meeting up with them, I can give you their contact info. They will be out there the same time.

Bump. PM me or respond to this thread if you want to hook up. I will be rolling into Moab on the 15th and leaving on the 19th.

I may see where they are at when I am there.

Nice. I think Porcupine Rim is on the opposite side of Castle Valley from the Top of the World overlook. That's a great view with the LaSalle's in the background.

the truck looks awesome.

Do you think a stock truck could run Porcupine Rim?

My friend has a stock truck.

I was scraping my armor pretty good on a few obstacles. A locker would definitely help out too. I think you could do it but you would have to accept a bit of damage on the underside.

Hitting up Fins today and Hells Revenge tomorrow.

Looks awesome! I'm headed up there next Monday night to hit the trails Tuesday and part of Wednesday. Thanks for posting all the pics and vids!
