Wow, This thread totally reminds me of work! I am part of the local 111 union. It is amazing the similarities I am seeing here after dealing with the union at work! When we do something considered wrong by someone they report us to management and then a union steward gets involved. It's re****ed. I've always worked hard and believed that if you have a problem with someone you confront them face to face and work out your problems in a civil manner instead of going behind their back and calling a union steward. Seems like mods are union stewards to me. I understand they are necassary since we can not talk face to face to work out our problems. I also understand we all agreed to the forum rules but wow this is petty and stupid. I hope SV dude does not change his avatar. I dont think it is sexist at all. My wife doesnt think it is sexist or demeaning. Only women that would think that are just jealous. Best part was my wife asked me if I wanted a sandwich after I consulted her on the issue! We laughed our asses off......then ate a sandwich. I hope you can all resolve your issues and realize how geeky and dumb it is to argue on a computer forum. For the love of all that is cool.....get out and do something. If anything I said offends anybody.....I honestly and truly do not care.

If there were any pictures one of them would be SV Dude's Avatar, but if anyone else did it, he/she would be asked to take it down.

I think it's about time this thread has come to an end. This thread doesn't do anything productive for the forum. The few gripes that were on this thread are a dead issue.

Bottom line: follow the forum rules.

I feel like I have to chime in, before closing this thread again. And I moved it back for everyone else to see.

What I can't understand is why do we have to show off our egos here? There is so much knowledge on this site, and we want to taint it by instigating useless arguments? That's just a waist of bandwidth, pure and simple.

And the main thing now: instead of spending time going after spammers and keeping the site up and running, we have to worry about all this drama. This is very wasteful, for the moderators and for everyone else.

So I ask for everyone's help. Stop this nonsense. Let's start with a clean slate.

Thai is unbanned, he promised to behave, and I'll take his word for it.

SV_Dude is still a moderator. We'll adjust the infraction system so there are more warnings, less bannings.
