heres a thought, have the moderators not able to post in threads, as some seem to let emotions take over, some seem to let friends, dslice on the rules, or bend rules for some and not others, unless they are directly asked a question.

Or maybe not have someone who thinks they're above the rules (You Know Who) be a mod. Ya ya I know said person's aviator isn't technically against the rules. Neither is pissing your pants while sitting on an airplane. Both are frowned upon. Yes, Thai went a little to far, yes you may have warned him, was it worth a ban for any period of time, no. This is just another incident where frowning should occur. If calling a few names that 5th graders shout on a playground gets you banned, then how is a sexest image not a perma-ban?

Glad someone made this thread as the moderation on this forum is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! i posted about it yesterday but, surprise surprise, my posts were deleted.

Was I the only one that was actually enjoying reading the iphone thread? I dont see why people have to get so petty and offended so easily. If you dont like something that is posted you are welcome to reply with your own points, or DONT READ IT AT ALL! Can we just agree to let people speak freely? at least in OT?!

ndcent, there's not many of the original moderators still actively moderating. It's pretty much down to 5 of us that I can think of. (Me, SV dude, momo, steezemcqueen, admin) There's a lot of spam on this website and many people to cater to.

I figured as much. It still doesn't explain why he's not listed as a moderator...transparency and all.

I think a good moderator should be seen not heard.

I've reported Thai's posts in the past. He's far too quick to bring ad hominem to a debate and then cry foul when the favor is returned. I don't care if he is getting trolled (and he probably is), he's big boy and can learn how to behave himself like an adult or he can get moderators on his ass. It's all good. I trust that the mod team is doing the right thing with the information that they have available, and when I don't I'll stop posting here or volunteer to be a mod myself.

Also, I'm very disappointed - this thead is titled "Moderators Gone Wild", and I see no pics whatsoever of a drunk SV flashing the camera, or CoB and Steez sharing a marischino cherry in their underwear. I feel lied to.

When did i cry foul? When did i ever ask for help? Ask Koz. It's rather amusing that after SV gave me an infraction (a while back) for arguing with Koz, I reported for the first time in my career here on Koz in the iPhone thread because he continued to be disruptive despite me ignoring his negative posts. (BTW, other members in that thread also asked Koz to quit!) What did SV do? NOTHING. Nada. So, i learned...don't rely on SV to act fair.

Actually, my message to Admin was simple...i did NOT mind being banned...but why was Koz not banned also? You guys can PM Admin about our conversation yourself. You guys cry for fair treatment...well, was there one in this case as determined by SV's actions?

Your trash talk in this forum is my business. It's my business as a moderator to deal with threads or posts that have been reported. As long as you keep flaming people, you'll keep getting banned. It's that simple.

This is a classic case of not being able to please everyone. None of this bs in this thread really bothers me too much. I mean, it is a little irritating... but oh well! Out of the hundreds of active members on this forum, there are only a select few that are in here whining. Why are they whining? Probably because I deleted a thread or a post of theirs that turned sour after a person or two started bashing other people. For every one of you who want a "anything goes" forum with no rules, there are 50 more who want a friendly forum.

Hey man, I know you have been here on the forums for a long time but that doesn't make you exempt from the rules any more than any one else. In one thread I saw you bypass the language sensors 3 times by posting "fukking". We're all big boys and foul language probably doesn't offend any of us. BUT this is supposed to be a work safe and family friendly forum. I have also noticed that almost every post you have is always based around the drama on this forum. You have made a few light personal attacks on other users over and over on a couple different threads. All I'm asking is that you chill out a bit and be a little more friendly towards everyone. If political threads gets your blood going then I would suggest that you avoid them.

It doesn't have anything to do with a political view. Notice I never commented back on your post in reply to mine about our political view. I pretty much stay neutral and for the most part avoid political discussion because it's a never ending topic that usually turns into a bunch of trash talk.

I also put the infraction in as whining because if I put it in as anything else it would have automatically given you a two day ban. I don't want to go that far because I don't think you deserve it. It's just a warning and me asking you to relax a little.

As for you reporting others, I have PM'd a couple people asking them to do the same. There has been more than one report on you that I have ignored because of your history on this board. I'm not going to delete or edit your posts. I'll delete threads that turn into junk.
