U have a write up on this? It is something I was thinking about doing myself. I also want to hard wire in my garmin and radar dectector.

You can get as involved or simple as you want with the install. One thing i really like about tacomaworld.com is they have a whole section for mods. Most of them can be done to the 4runner.
