LOL, i do have a sawzall scar on my thumb from an exhaust project a while back, that was a close one! sawzall's really will cut anything....
warning: do not hold a piece of tube in your kung-fu gripped hand and attempt to split it down the middle with a sawzall.

The rack looks great Momo! I can't wait to see it installed. It sounds like you had the same idea for getting it as low as possible.
So is this the most low-profile the rack can get correct? It sounds like you've incorporated the changes (~1/2" lowered height and lowered front rise) we discussed a while back via PM. Either way, it looks great. Excellent work.
I still think a flat style like the 5th gen Baja utility rack would look great as well. Although I know you said a change that drastic would require the 4runner to actually be there for measurements/fitting.

Yeah, i wanted it to be pretty low profile but still have a light bar, this is why i went with a single row over a double row. We had talked about keeping the top of the rack flat, but i like the rise in the front of the rack. Josh was able to lower the profile and make it work perfectly with that light bar.

I changed out the two single Hanma LED lights, i had mounted under the rear for extra reverse lighting, to two 2x6 Hanma LED lights. This is what the 2x6 flood lights look like (thanks [MENTION=50591]gaterose[/MENTION] for the pic).
Sorry for the crummy phone pics. I have them mounted on both sides of the spare tire. There are already threaded holes in those locations.
Here is night shot with the camera on the ground so you can actually see them.
This shot is from a normal level. From this level it almost looks like the high powered LED bulbs in my tail light housings are throwing out all that light.
One of the main thing i like about these lights are that you really don't see them until i put the truck in reverse.
Last night I was backing up, and couldn't see anything behind me, and right away I thought of these, couldn't remember who had them. very interested in installing these on my 4R, and I might copy your spot. do you have them come on with reverse, or on a switch? and what bulbs do you have in the tails? they look super bright.

I got the reverse bulbs from [MENTION=67365]Whitebeauty[/MENTION]. Just hit him up with a pm and he can give you the details on them. As of right now they just come on when i put my truck in reverse. Eventually i am going to rewire them to come on with the reverse lights as well as with a switch.
