Which spacers are you referring to? My old Method wheels were -12 offset but my Icon wheels are 0. This is why i added the .75" BORA Wheel spacers so the tires would sit just slightly wider.

That puts you at approx -19 offset - how much do the tires stick out past the fender? I’m probably gonna have to do this with the 5th gen Trail wheels if I go that route, it’ll end up at -17 offset after spacers (in most part to clear the JBA UCAs) so I wanted to get a feel for how far out that really is.

Thanks. It was really only rubbing on the driver's side when it was at full lock and i was going down hill or going over something. It was pretty minimal but just wanted to take care of it.

Went back through your thread trying to find out what exactly you needed to switch to the 06+ grill. Did you need to relocate your hood lever? Also did you run into any issues fitting the grill with the 03-05 DO bumper? I know the stock 03-05 bumper comes up a bit higher than the 06+ in the grill area.

Thank you! The 06-09 grill is a direct replacement for the 03-05. To switch the headlights you will need the 06-09 trim pieces that go under the lights because they are different. As far as the fit of the grill with the DO bumper I had to cut off part of the bottom of the grill and the outer corners so it would close without hitting. The release lever is the same but i did have to make a new rod, which wasn't a big deal.

With the help of Gaterose (Matt) replaced the Xreas suspension system and Daystar spacers with a set of Bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners and OME 884's/Toytex Superflex. We set the front 5100's on the second space from the bottom for the OME 884's to sit on. In the rear i used one of my Daystar 1.5" spacers on the driver side, along with the Toytec Superflex Springs. As it has settled it is sitting pretty level. As it sits now the measurement are:

Front Right - 38 1/2"
Front Left - 39"
Right Rear - 39 1/2"
Left Rear - 39 5/8"

I've said it before, but amazing build, sir. A couple of spring-related questions:

1. Did you have to bump the 884s another notch on the 5100s when you installed the front bumper?

I'm adding a SW front bumper (V6) so will need to swap out the current Moog FJ springs (already have 5100s) and am wondering if 885s set to zero will net me the same height as you have with the 884s?

2. And were you forced to upgrade UCAs or did you do it or alignment reasons?

My plan is to pair 884 or 885s with the Superflexes in the back. And eventually I'll be adding sliders, so trying to account or some additional weight.

Thanks man. I haven't adjusted anything on the front since I put them on. When i put the bumper on it might have dropped 1/8" to 1/4"....maybe. Definitely not enough to notice. On the UCA's i put them on for the alignment options and they really smoothed out the ride. Some people add the UCAs to account for spacing of larger tires. When I had the Superflex springs on the rear it rode really nice. When putting the rear bumper on I went to the Icon Overland springs because of the weight. Still rides great. I think either of the springs would be good on the front matched with the Superflex.

Since my family and I are stuck in the house I finally had a little time to work on a project. A couple of weeks ago I received these scene light mounts from Trevor Inman @TiN. Once there has been some testing and such Trevor will have these mounts on his site. solidshiftconcepts.com I got my lights and some new hardware in this past week.

Perfect fit!

Been debating on 2 per side or 3.....leaning towards three.

I hope to start drilling and mounting the lights tomorrow. Then I will have a good bit of wiring to do.

As far as the light switches I have gone back and forth on what I wanted to do. I finally decided to go with the SwitchPros 8 switch system. I decided on this because it is so compact and has a ton of options. I was able to find a space that was within reach but not in the way for mounting the switch panel.

Several weeks ago i went back out to the salvaged 4Runner I pulled my fender trim panels from. He still had had the console trim piece so I grabbed it. I was pretty sure this is where I was going to mount this but didn't want to chop up the piece in my truck. This would make a great test piece.

I ended up cutting out the three middle switch blanks and a little extra. I was able to french in the back edge of the switch panel so that it was a little more flush. I am really pleased with the way it turned out.

As far as what the switches will be used for:
1. Roof Light Bar Amber
2. Roof Light Bar Clear
3. Reverse Light Bar
4. Right Side Scene Lights
5. Left Side Scene Lights
6. Amber Dust Lights

this will leave me two blanks for later projects.

A few weeks ago i worked on mounting the SwitchPros switch panel on my center console. I was really please with the results. Leave it to @TiN to come up with an even better solution. He sent me one of his prototype mounts for the SP unit. I received the mount, backing plate, threaded rods and nuts.

Mounting couldn’t be any easier. Just pop out the three blanks in the console, put the switch in the mount with the threaded rods installed. Place the mounting plate on the underside of the console piece amd thread the nuts. It fits the contours of the console perfectly. Interested to see the roof rack Side lighting. I have Baja Design S2 sport in work scene and i highly recommend them. They cost around 180 a pair but totally worth it.

Wiring can be a headache. Having a switch panel like you have will make it easy though.
Be safe regardless and if you’re not comfortable doing it make sure it’s done once and done right. Sounds like you have someone that can do that so that’s half the battle.

Yeah, this switch system will make it much easier. I can do some wiring stuff but i am just not comfortable doing it. I would rather somebody that knows what they are doing do it. That way i know it is done right.

I hadn't gone through your build in a while man, things escalated quickly. That +2 kit looks mean, but that rear LT kit is nasty. So jealous of that droop.

[MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION] can you do me a favor? What does your truck measure from floor to the highest point right now with the roof rack and the 285s? I'm headed in a similar direction but my concern right now is clearing the garage opening at my house. I only have a 7 foot opening and I also plan on putting my RTT on the rack once I move to a Sherpa like yours. Thinking that once I do suspension, BL and bigger tires, I won't be able to put the 4runner in the garage, let alone with the RTT mounted, without a bigger opening.
