I did my limited fairings with a gallon man.
For prep eat your spinach so your forearms are as big as Popeye's! Lol. Scrub good and hard. The more it's scratched the better.

What grid do you recommend?
If I don't have the whole gallon. Can it be stored safely and re used ?

If you don't mix it then yes you can store it but you will have to do the calculations on your amount mixed.
It's not a grit per say. It's the 3m brown scotch Brite pads for busting finishes. It comes in the kit. Works well too.

They sell quarts guys. It's good for little projects like the sr5 fenders and bumpers but for the limited flares I would go with a gallon....or two quarts. You want this stuff thick though.
So some 3m pads , to scratch the surface up ?
And simply lay the liner correct ?
I don't have any flares. So I wanna cover up the marks from the flares. And since I did some body work on one rocker pannel and rear fender. So instead of matching up to factory paint. It's cheaper and better for me to bed line it.
Gallon is probably better.

I did this not too long ago. I have a 99 Limited and color matched the flares and side cladding. I had 1 quart and had to stretch it. There are some low spots that the milenium silver kind of shows through. Two quarts will be more than enough. If you get one gallon you will have quite a bit leftover which will go to waste. I used the brown scotch Brite pad they sell as well as their rollers. I also used bulldog adhesion promoter since the flares and cladding are ABS plastic and not metal. One piece of advice is make sure to get full even coverage on the first coat. Do not lay it on thin or else the 2nd coat will have high and low spots. You will also end up with more texture if the first coat is not heavy and even.

Price of two quarts vs gallon is almost same. As with gallon the rollers come and other goodies. How long to wait between coats?

I forget off the top of my head but I followed the directions supplied and everything worked out. The monstaliner must be dry to touch before applying another coat. I put the first coat on went to the gym then dinner. Probably about 3 hours. By the time I got back it was dry and I applied the 2nd coat.
