The brush guard is by Manik. It's the cheapest you can find. Stealers sell them for 399, or Performance Products . com for 429.
 
Yup. They had a special at a stealer up here for 399. They're usually 450somthin. I like the way it looks. I like those seatcovers in the other posts, but they seem too expensive for just seatcovers.
 
Nice 4runner...yeah, the cladding looks good with that color.

Do you have any pics of the front so that people can get a closer look at the brush bar??

I was wondering two things. Could you tell if it made a difference in your headlights? i know there isn't much in front of them, but sometimes it only takes a little bit to throw them off.

Also, how is the view from the driver's seat. I wasn't sure if it was distracting as you are driving.
 
I'll post the front view tomorrow. I didn't notice any difference in the headlights. If you want, you can take out the little bars that are in front of each headlight with an Allen wrench. As for driving, it actually looks better from my view. It feels like you know your front end better in some way. Manik recently added two more stabilizer bars that easily install. This is said to dampen vibration. I didn't get the slightest bit of vibration, and i drive to work in Washington DC's pot-holed roads daily.
 
Very cool. I like the thin bars going across the lights, I was just curious.

When you take some shots tomorrow, could you take one from behind the wheel looking down the hood. Thanks. Can't wait to see the pics.
 
Question about the grill guard: I had one like that on mine but it was made by Westin; I had a problem with mine moving side to side on rougher roads. Have you noticed any movement in yours? Mine did it so bad that it actualy hit the body of the vehicle on the side of the headlight where the guard wraps around. (This was on a really rough trail.)
This was installed by a truck outfitter and they checked the installation twice before removing it and refunding my money.

There you are.......I knew I had seen a post a long time ago talking about that but couldn't remember who it was. It sounds like they have that problem worked out on this Manik, even without the extra stabilizer bars.
 
Cool.....I wonder what the difference is?? Mine was mounted to the frame underneath and then had two stabilizer bars that went through the bottom of the grill.
They look good!

THIS IS A ONE PIECE DEAL. I BELIEVE WESTIN AND MAYBE EVEN WAAG ARE THREE PIECE, AND THAT MAY BE THE REASON FOR THE SWAY....
