I can’t really answer your question on the differences. However, I installed front and rear MOOG coil springs with Bilstein 4600 shocks on my ‘99 4WD and they performed flawlessly. Very nice stable ride. MOOG makes good parts. Maybe not AS good as OEM Toyota, but not enough to justify the cost differential IMO. MOOG has been in business for a long time...for good reason.

If you search the thread “shock information for 3rd gens-stock and lifted” you’ll find your answer a few paragraphs down, moog spring part numbers that is.
Nice thing about rear springs is how easy they are to change. If the moogs are not to your liking, no big deal, change ‘em again!

I think moog only offers one pair for rear springs moog 81043.
edit: they also have 81041 constant load springs for'16 inch wheels. and 81043 for 15 inch wheels.

That's an interesting point on the two wheel sizes, kinda explains the difference some.

I went with the 81041 and had to use 1.5" spacers to match the 81088 in the front. Maybe I should have gone with the 81043?
