Moonroof problem

I opened my moonroof for the first time today in months. The auto open did not work. I had to hold down the button in order to open it. Anyone else had this problem?

Yea. Was your battery recently disc.? If so you will need to reset the auto window and sunroof. I believe you can do this buy shutting the sunroof and then holding the close button for three seconds. It may be a little different but just search and you shall find.

Reinitialize it. Chances are if it hasn't been opened in a while someone may have disconnected the battery between then and now. Hold the button open all the way until the roof opens and then hold it until the roof closes. Should work fine. The same procedure works for the rear and drivers windows. It is in your manual and there is a note under the hood near the battery area.

i have that problem too...but i never disconnect my battery...i just do what everyone else said..hold it to open fully..then hold to close/vent..then it will work fine

I disconnected my battery a couple days ago. I had no idea but now that i think about it my driver window and rear did this too but i fixed it having no idea. Thanks!
