My brother in Colorado has a 1989 Nissan Pathfinder that's still chugging along. Great design, hell of an engine. Somewhere around 250K miles.

I hope to have around 300k on my 2016 4Runner by its 10th birthday lol. 52k now.

I don't know about you but I prefer to know as much as possible before spending 40k.
I mean, aside from the 25k I had to spend for the flooding in my basement 6 months after i bought the house.:redbrick:

2018 is definitely a carryover and won't be due til early Winter. The Tundra is getting Cement as a standard color so the 4Runner may also follow that.... but hard to say since these are still from Japan.

19 may see the design though I've heard the 20 is a redesign. Toyota likely has the new one ready to go bit are waiting for the Bronco specs to appear for final tweaks before release.

I was hoping the Toyota FT-4X concept from earlier this year was the new 4Runner or FJ replacement... sadly it was aimed at extremely minor off road capability for campers hahaha

Cavalry blue is a color I could get behind.

I liked the blue/gray on the early 5th gens. I would have been tempted to choose that over red had it been available on the 16s.

A little over...sitting at 52k yesterday, my brother left this morning to tow the Jetskis up to Michigan from Colorado. Purchased Dec 19, 2015. For awhile there I was driving back and forth to see the kids in Texas from Colorado.

It would be nice if the OR or ORP would come with some lower level bilsteins, skid plate, and the 17" forged faux bead lock TRD wheels. just enough to be different than the pro but enough of a difference from an sr5.

I actually think that the Trail/Off-Road versions offer some significant differences over the SR5 as it is, the part-time 4WD system being the primary one. Toyota never should have added added the TRD name to the Trail, it's be like Ford adding Raptor grilles to an otherwise-stock truck and selling it as an entry-level Raptor. Pretty sure Ford knows enough to consider doing so an embarrassment.

Yep, the t-force package is poser-ish to me but I'm sure a lot of people who never plan on doing anything with the truck think it looks cool.

The 'TRD OffRoad' is equally poser-ish, as there isn't a single TRD part on the truck (unless you consider embroidery and decals as TRD parts).

Dilution of the heritage, all in the name of marketing.

Nice. It's good to know you own a car that can do that. I am lucky to have a commuter car and a 4Runner so my 4Runner doesn't have as many miles yet, but I bought it with the plan to keep it for many years and many miles.

Couldn't agree more. TRD no longer really means anything and the TRD "OffRoad" is cringe worthy. I bought my Trail in 2015 so I am lucky not to have the lame badging and interior accents of the TRD OffRoad. If I bought one now, I'd have the dealer strip that OfRoad emblem off before I left the lot.

I like the color, but I'm having problems imagining what it would look like on a 4R. For some reason, it's a little too "toy car" looking for me.

As far as I'm concerned they can keep pumping out the current BOF 5th Gen with minor upgrades for as long as possible.

Nobody here knows for sure, but based on trends and fuel consumption standards, it would make sense that the next 4Runner could be unibody.

I was behind an odd little crossover yesterday and suddenly realized it was a Nissan Pathfinder. Holy crap that is a depressing sight. There was no DNA from the original left.

Looks like a minivan now.
