More Power?

Hello, I have a 2001 4runner, and I am looking for some more power. I have already put on a K&N Air filer system but I still want more. I have looked into a turbocharger, but they do not have jack squat for my truck, I have thought about getting a bigger motor and dropping it in, like the V8 in the new 4runner, but i dont know what will all fit in my truck. Do any of you have an suggestions for some more power? Please post if you do, i would really appreceate it. Thanks!!!

There are still superchargers available for the 3rd Gens, aren't there?

Is it a 4-cyl or v-6? There are a lot of options depending on how deep your pockets are.

From my research I found
The 3rz (4-cyl) LC Engineering has lots of parts for this engine and next month they are coming out with a turbo kit. They also sell the Alpine Supercharger that was sold by TRD as a TRD part except it is a full kit including fuel upgrades and all.

There is another website that also does performance parts for the 3RZ. Paradise Racing sells turbo mainfolds and parts to do your own turbo setup.

If you have the 5vz (v-6) there is always the TRD supercharger. You can find this pretty cheap now, under $2k. Also there is another company called Speed Factory that is working on a turbo kit for the 5vz. They are still developing the kit but the test vehicle they are using is a 4runner. Now if I could only find out who sells a bolt on exhaust for a '99 4-cyl 4runner or if the v-6 exhaust will fit.PSI Racing that sells turbo componants for both the 3rz and 5vz. I haven't really heard much about them.
