Ok. Here's the scoop thus far:
When I purchased my '08 UrbanRunner, I was told that while my vehicle was bluetooth capable, I would need to have the dealer install a bluetooth system. Needless to say, I was thinking to myself...??? None the less, they installed the system and it worked ok for a few days.
Then one day as I was programming my Tomtom unit, everything stopped working. No Bluetooth, no Tomtom, nothing. At this point the steam starts coming out of my ears. I give Toyota customer service a call - Even they did not know that Tomtoms are included in the UR package. But I was told that someone would be in contact with me shortly. That never happened.
Yesterday I took my car into the dealership. After 6+ hours of "troubleshooting" they removed the aftermarket bluetooth system and said that they would need to order a new chip for the Tomtom as this chip was fried.
So this is where I stand. No bluetooth, missing parts for my car, and a Tomtom that does not work...
...I should have just kept my other car...
