Morimoto XB gen2 DRL power through switch pros sp-9100

Morimoto instructions say to use the add-a-fuse to tap into the INJ but I already have my switch pros sp-9100 tapped into the INJ port. Has anyone just cut the add a fuse off the Morimoto drl harness and used a switch pros input for the DRL power? Any functionality lost?
