Most Accurate Price Guides?

Covid has thrown new and used values for a loop. in the "old" days, i would go into a dealership offering $100 over invoice for new (minus big incentives, remember those!).

now, i may be in a situation where i need accurate used values on both the buy and sell side. what are people finding that is portraying an up to date value suggestion?

There is none. The entire new and used market is in really odd territory right now. There are so few new cars making it to dealers (primarily due to no chips being available for new car ECU's) that dealers are paying a premium for used cars and trade-ins and selling for a monster premium new vehicles. See the thread on the $20k mark up on a new Lime 2022 4runner in 5th Gen section.

Your best bet is to go to several online car buyers like Carvana. They will get you in the ballpark for your area.

Well my 2019 TRD Off Road with 50k on it could easily sell used for 45k.

Just buy new and whatever sticker says. When i went to the one of the largest dealers in NY all they had on there floor was used Volvos and Volkswagens. Almost no stock outside ether.

The NADA guide is the bible that both auto dealers and lending institutions use.
Edmunds, KBB, etc are BS.

Depends on where you are. Paid $38k for a 2018 TRD ORP with 37k miles 6 weeks ago. My area has about 60 used Gen 4 and 5 rigs available right now so I'd guess its a little softer than bigger cities.

It seems like the only thing keeping the used car prices down is the new car prices. After all, you just can't charge more for a used car than you could for a new car. The moment the new cars become inaccessible, the price could really skyrocket.
