Most addicting Iphone games

Nothing like a grown man holding onto his iphone for dear life, tongue sticking out the side of his mouth, so close to that next level he can TASTE it. My girlfriend calls me a nerd on a daily basis. And then goes back to playing angry birds.
 
No, the tank is a beast, once you get it fully modded out. For coins try the moon on the dirtbike, go for huge air and flips, only come back down for fuel, lol. Easy to get consistant high coin scores that way.

I grabbed this app and tried it out last night, from what I can tell you just watch the computer play a game of football? So there's no interaction, there's no game to "play"? This wouldn't mesmerize my cat FFS, what am I missing here?

Well, it is a strategy game. You build your team. You do need to spend some $$ (initially) though to make a good team. Once you have a decent team, then you play to get more $$ to make your team even better. Unlike Madden NFL, there is no direct interaction during the game...you're the owner of the team. You see what your team is weak at, and that is how you strengthen it. You can do this by getting better players AND/OR using the skill cards to offset your team's weakness. The gameplay itself is rather decent with the artificial intelligence.

But, yeah, to fully enjoy the game, you do have to spend your own cash to build a team at the beginning. Once that is done, you can let your team win the Bowl Games and collect money from there. Basically, you need to spend money initially...and if you have a good team, then your team will make money in the bowls so that you continually try to make your team better without spending anymore cash.

If you like Madden NFL type games, then this is not for you. However, if you're into game strategy and/or building a team, then this game is much better than Madden. (Madden on iPhones suck to no end IMHO.)

Is there an option to skip the actual game and get back to the part where you get to interact with the game? Seems like a waste of time to watch 2 computer controlled teams play while I twiddle my thumbs.

Just before going to the game, you can SKIP TO THE END or you can watch from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th quarter. Once in the game, just click on the PAUSE button and see your choices. For me, I usually skip to the 4th quarter on interesting matchups...I don't ever watch the whole game. For less interesting games, I just skip to the end.

My advice is to be patient. LEARN THE GAME first by starting with crappy team (free). Get to know the game. After that, you can create another team...then spend your own money to build the team. This is what I did.

To be honest, I don't even play any other games...I am glued to this game 24/7. If my team loses a close game, I actually feel stress and angry!! :D It has made me forget that we are in the offseason of football. Love the damn game!

BTW, this Big Win Football is on BOTH Android and iOS...but they are not compatible. For example, when I had iPhone 5, I had a good team. When I went over to Android, HotHead (developer of BW) told me that they cannot transfer my team over to Android. Fortunately, since I had actually spent real $$ on iOS version, the developer gave me $5000 cash (not real, but game cash) on Android so that I can build my team over again for free. Developer is actually quite responsive via email thru their internet site (NOT thru game).

In fact, sad but true, I may not go back to Apple iOS even if iPhone 5S or 6 are amazing because of THIS GAME! :D I don't want to lose my team and rebuild it again! I am stuck on Android because of a damn app!!!! :D

I have the tank almost maxed and it still won't get very far... maybe I'm doing it wrong. I need to get the dirtbike up to speed. For now, the monster truck on the moon is netting me about 125k coins per run without really trying so it's funding some of these other experiments.

+1 which vehicle? I'm not sure if I want to pick up the race car or rally car next and I'm assuming its one of those two.

He said he used the semi truck (maxed out of course), and after I asked he sent an update that his record for that level is now 12862m. I hate competing with this jerk, lol.

Another cool game is SimplePhysics, you build various structures that need to withstand forces, and keep the project under budget, pretty cool way to kill some time. Eg, a roof design that can hold a snowload for 15 seconds, or a train bridge that doesn't fall apart, a dam that can withstand a flood, etc.

stickman downhill racing. I can enjoy the thrills of mountain biking and only tweak a thumb. My collarbones and tailbone are shot from doing the real thing…..
 
Clash of Clans !!! MY son originally started playing it on my ipad and then at some point i just completely took over lol,stopped playing for a good course of last year and then they got me started on it again this past holiday season Dammit:doh: its sooo addicting :heh:
