This is on a 2007 V8 190k miles timings belt was done at at 120k, 2yrs a go all factory parts. I was running errand on Friday had 1/2 tank of gas and went and topped it off and drove 2 miles back to the house and parked it. It set all day Saturday (heavy rain) went to go start it this morning and soon as I start their loud clanking in the top of motor almost like something rattling but it’s not a knock, idle is extremely rough. It’s only it’s ran a few seconds before turning off. So did the timing belt skip a tooth, starter sticking, bad gas (no diesel at this station)? Any other ideas?
