mp3 plug interference

when i plug in my ipod connection wire into the mp3 input in the armrest, i get a buzz at high volumes. i also wired my satelitte radio there, and getting the same thing. i believe it needs a group loop isolator, but that typically kills buzzes from engine whine. (in other words, the buzz gets higher with speed). maybe a noise isolater would fix it. does anyone have the same problem, is it a toyota thing, whats a fix, or is it a warranty issue?
crutchfield said it could also be a bad ground for the radio. either way, my ears know its there and its annoying!!!

thanks for your help

I use my iPod mini without any sound problems. I turn the volume all the way up on the iPod, and adjust the volume with the headunit. Sorry, but I don't know what the fix would be.

yeah. turn the volume on the ipod or sat all the way up. They are not amplified so you need to crank them and let the head unit do all the work.

I wouldn't turn the ipod volume all the way up. I turn mine up about 9/10 of the way. If the ipod is all the way up you have a greater chance of the audio distorting and blowing your speakers.
