High weird idling after I install the stock intake back in!!

I remove my K&N FIPK today and clean out my TB and install the stock air box back on today cause my lease will be up next month. after I finish I started the 4R up and it was idling very high @ 1500 rpm. then I took it out to drive it for 5 min till the motor warm up to normal temp. when the 4R is in drive it idle at about 700 rpm when i went to put it in park it was idling @ 1,000 rpm at normal temp. usually it idle @ 500 rpm in D before when I had the K& N on at normal temp..

anyone know what the hell is going on here? I put everything back the same way it came out and even double check everything before I started the 4R. do you guys think maybe its the ECU making it idle high like that because i had the k&N on? do you think after I drive it for a while the ECU will adjust itself back to normal? I have an 04 V6 by the way.

try pulling the negative battery terminal off for about 15 minutes and then reattaching. this should clear out the ECU and let it "relearn"

OK, I drove the 4R 50 mile today and it all back to normal! it was the ECU re justing its self . @ normal temp in D it idle @ 600 rpm and in Park it idle @ about 700 rpm. all is good except I notice a drop of 1.5 mpg in gas miles and the gas pedal don't feel the same any more it does not respond like it use to with the k&N.:D
