Mud flaps, Ventshields, & Accessories

Where are all the accessories for the 5th gen Runner's?

No custom mud flaps or splash guards, no ventshields for the windows, no bug shields, hardly anything out there........a few items on ebay that say they fit an 03 -10 but I am skeptical since the body style is new for 10.

How long does it take????

Probably a few months since the 5th gens have been slow to roll out so vendors are probably a bit behind also.

If they say they will fit ANYTHING and a 10, most likely they are wrong. Especially if it has to do with the outside of the rig. Some internal, Mech, suspension parts maybe, but not exterior. EGR will have bug shield and window visors out in May, so they tell me. Weather Tech stuff, who knows. There is a sun roof visor out from Weather Tech, but it is pretty generic. Floor liners and Cargo liners are about the only things available right now. If you have a sliding deck, then only Husky has the cargo liner available. No custom mud flaps yet, generic ones are out there. Stuff is coming, be patient.

Saw these also. It's the only thing on their site they have for the 5th gen. I keep emailing them begging and pleading for custom mudskins for the 2010 but get no response.

Really? I will have to give them a call. I keep asking my dealer and nothing on the horizon. I also asked the Dyer Toyota folks in SE that supplied my running boards and they said they have nothing yet.

Emailed Scott Clark Toyota. Here is their response:

"We do not have a listing yet for Mudguards for a 4Runner. Toyota might in the future, just not sure when.

Please e-mail or call if you have any questions, Thanks...

We are open from 7:00am to 8:00pm Monday thru Thursday, 7:00am to 6:00pm on Friday and 7:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday."

I don't know that is a good question. No come to think of it I did have to give him my vin .

Call him back and ask him the 10 digit part numbers for future ordering so they don't have to look it up again.
Maybe they are SE Toyota specific part numbers like the running boards.

I have copies of the EPC's(Electronic Parts Catalog) for the exteriors and there are no OEM mudlaps for SR5/Limited unless they did an update to the manual in the last 2 months.

Funny that the TE/4cyl front and rear mudlaps have a MSRP of $42.96 and can get them for $30.47 discount price online.Dealerships would sell them for around $36.

Harper these wont fit as is. But if you cut them shape them, could they fit?? If i get these painted to my blizzard, then cut off part of the fender well flares in front, would they fit? I know on rear flare is molded on the dag on bumper, could it just fit over that???

I thought the same thing at first. The flares ,where they tie in to the mudflaps are a completely different shape and size.Plus there are pins and steel plates that give them their strength that go vertical into the flares.

I had the front ones off since I put my new tires on because that's where they were rubbing.Last night I cut out the hump part that was sticking out where it was rubbing. No rubbing now with mud flaps on. Anyone with a TE that is going to put 33's, I took some pics and will do a write up of where/how I trimmed the mudflaps and how to pull the front liners forward so you won't rub. Pm me if you need it.Any bigger then 33's is going to take a body mount chop like on the 4th Gens. and FJ's.

Not verified but looks very promising.These are different then the sheet and part numbers I have for the TE so they might be them.The pdf file is too big to post on here and I don't know how to shrink it. It's 825kb and the max is 130kb to post.

We need a Adobe pdf expert who I can e-mail it to to post up the pic. Pm me your e-mail address if you can do it or want to try to do it. Or when I get home I can take a photo of it and post it that way.

I doubt it. All the other plastic parts I ever got from them were black ABS plastic or black rubber.

OK...This was sent to from a SE Toyota dealer for the mudflaps for Limited/SR5 .Thanks goes to forum member SR54RUNNER10 for those that need them :thumb3:

You will have to verify at you local dealership parts counter but according to this they do exist now.They might be SE Toyota only and then would have to be ordered thru them.
