Suppose vent shade was to crack or break and needed to be replaced. How easy would it be remove the vent shade?

From the previous in channel vent shades I owned, very easy to remove and replace. (But I only had to do so once). I had ones from Weather tech that did not include or require any tape into the inside of the channel. There are some vent shades out there which fit into the window channel between the window velt/rubber and the door outer skin and uses tape. Other just slide in the same opening, but due to their design, do not need tape.

Then there are others still that tape to the outside of the window area. I have never used those. So, in mho, once somebody finally makes the in channel vent shades, I would not be afraid to put them on. They are great when it rains and you still need to crack the window, which happens a lot with me.

Just wondering if all these accessories will fit on a 2011 SR5 as well?
Especially for the husky mud guards and the avs bug deflector.

Wade makes in channel vent visors that use tape inside the channel. I got mine on eBay for like 45 bucks and the install is very easy also wades are very durable and I powerwash my truck once a week, and no problems

Bugflector II question:

For you that have had this shield on for a while now, do you notice a considerable decrease in the bugs on the windshield? I'm sure it protects the hood from rock chips (which I have two of already!), but do you notice less bug splats on the glass?

I'm considering putting this on my truck and can't decide if I want to change the existing look of the truck. The bugs lately have been horrible and I can't even remotely keep the windshield clean. I'm wondering if adding the AVS will make enough of a difference to be worth modifying the current look of the truck.

I've had bug hood deflectors on my other two T4R, and a pickup I once had. They seem to work, or maybe I'm just used to having them on. Bugs are still on the windshield, but seems like they hit higher up. My 2cents! :thumb3:

Thanks for the input. I had a bug shield on my old truck for many years as well, and am trying to decide if it really helped or if I just got used to it being there. Same as you.

Looks-wise, I'd prefer to not put it on there. But if y'all are finding that it really does decrease the bug hits, then I'll add it. Ahh decisions. At least it's not an expensive one.

and it is confirmed through lundinternational that it fits the 2011.

I've got Toyota hood deflector,avs vent shades, husky floorliners, husky cargo liner and husky mud guards. The hardest thing to do was cut down the running boards 2" and that was easy just took a while. I actually like them better shorter. I also got t4r. Org stickers from momo off of this forum and they look awesome cool logo!
