Muffler Choices

Hey everyone,

The stock muffler has finally rusted out and I need to replace it before an emissions inspection this month. I'm looking for something that will be quiet on the highway as the truck does about 3000 RPM at 70mph. Definitely do not want drone since I do a lot of long trips.

Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket mufflers on their truck?

I'll probably go with a Walker exhaust when the time comes. They are inexpensive and supposedly similar to OEM. You can look up your vehicle in the catalog above and then copy/paste each part# in a search to find a seller with the best price. The 46919 is only $109 with free shipping from amazon Prime. Then you need gaskets and hangers which are cheap.
