Don't have the part number handy as
it's midnight here in Germany and Ive got to be at PT by 0630 so I'm headed to bed.
But, It's from Performance Products, it shows in the book but not on the webpage, I called and placed my order to simplify as well.
Its the K&N Gen II FIPK, I believe it is a 63 series or some crap, you can get it in Chrome as well if thats your bag.

The new part number for the FIPK is 57-9023.

But if you look for the old part# which is 63-1076 I think you can find it for $254.

Plus I had a 10% off coupon.
Performance Products was one of the cheapest for it.
As for money, yeah it seemed like a bit to drop at first but I've did it on every car now and beleive me you can tell the difference with the research that they put into the setup.
It's pretty nice.
As for the exhaust, and everything else on the Runner, it's all stock, everything except for the intake. It really, really, really adds a sweet ass sound to the Runner, the exhaust will come in a few months but nothing now.
BTW, stay tuned I sent our buddy another vid of around 13 mb, its an on ramp to the autobahn and I run it to cutoff.
The cam profiles change at around 70ish, and around 100 ish and you can definately tell when they do.

anyone knows if these are legal to use in california? how do the dealerships feel about these being installed and will it affect the warranty of the engine? i know after market parts can't void the whole warranty of the vehicle, but will this void the engine's warranty for example? the website says it won't void warranty but wasn't anymore specific than that.

It is now legal in california because is it C.A.R.B. legal now. They have new part numbers now becuase of the CARB certification. Also the filters do not void the warranty but is still a possibility like if you over oil it, and then the oil can get on the maf sensor and damage it. Then they won't warranty that.

As for voiding warrenties, they have to be able to Prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that the part you installed is the actual cause of the engine malfunction, I know because I blew an Acura GSR motor and got it replaced for free

Good to know about the new video coming and the warranty, I know they have to prove the cause of the failure but sometimes it such a hardache

It's like their convicting you of murder, you have all the proof you never killed the girl, you have your story straight, eye witnesses putting you someplace else that time of night but yet you saw her last and they have to prosecute someone to prove a point and you spend 5 months in jail and now have a record, at least it was not the original 5 years sentence.
