looking good! I like how it blends in nicely with the shape of the nose. how do you like the quality/fitment of the Manik? Is it heavy?

Let me ask you something, I have been going back and forth between the Wet Okole Seat Covers and aftermarket leather.
What do the seats look like from behind? Do you loose the pockets? How is the fit/finish?
By the way, I am in Houston and if you are around the area; I'd love to take a peak at your seat covers.

Hey, thanks for the comments so far!
Ghostface80: The grille guard wasn't too heavy. Installation was a breeze. Basically you install the bars to the chassis and then the grille guard to the bars. The guard itself weighs to me about 70 pounds but I'm not for sure about that. The stabilizer bars work well with the guard and there is no vibration whatsoever. I will take more pics of the bars and how to get the hood open (you can't open it unless you move the guard forward)
Andy: I LOVE the seat covers. But leather and wet okoles are a COMPLETELY different feel. Since we're in Texas, I opted for the Okoles because I had leather in my last car and my legs would always stick to the seats during the summer (I HATED that) I have dogs and I am always at the river so the seat covers are water absorbant and resists dirt very well.
To answer your question though (and I will take pics of this), you do lose the magazine holder feature. Everything fits like a glove - very close to the seat and feels like wet suit - for the first few weeks, my car smelled like scuba equipment. It secures with velcro and snaps under the seat. There's no way the seat covers will ever come off unless you pull and tug. I've had the seat covers you can buy at the department store and these are not even CLOSE to those. I can't even compare them together. With your decision, I would ask myself what you most use your vehicle for. If you rarely do anything outdoorsy - I'd go with the leather. If you want a more sporty look - go with the Wet Okoles.

I'd love to see some more pics of those seat covers as well. I've been thinking of getting them myself but haven't found much for pictures installed.

Yes, more pics of the seat covers please! I've been thinking about getting a set, and yours look great.
Was it difficult to get a tight fit like that, or are they so tight that they will look great any way they are installed?
Are they waterproof? What exactly are they made of? Did you have to remove the seats to install the covers?

Thanks for the reply, I also have two dogs that we take to the local "water hole" so that is a good point you brought up.
We have leather in my wife's Cayene and it is a bit of a pain when we take the dogs, kinda messy.
I am considering doing the whole interior, front and back since I needed for my wife and I and the dogs.
I appreciate the comments and I think that we are all looking forward to more pictures...

The seat covers are custom fit so they go on very snug and you just pull them down over the seats and take up all the extra slack in the bottom You do not have to take out the seats to put these on.
They are more water resistant than water proof. I've gotten in the car after the river all wet and they still absorb the water but nothing like regular fabric and they dry a whole lot faster. They are virtually dirt proof (I've also been muddy when i've gotten in the car) and any mud i got on the seat I just rubbed right off - If you do get them exceedingly dirty though - all you need to do is buy wet suit soap (sold by wet okole or any scuba store) Another cool thing is that they repel odor - so if you have dogs or cats or dirty kids that haven't taken a bath, they don't absorb the odors like fabric does. I've also noticed that hairs don't stick into the covers (because of the wet suit composite) ... whereas in fabric you could probably find hairs all inside the seat pores if you know at all what I mean? Kind of gross if you think about it, but it's life...

Thanks for the great pics. This may be a silly question, but you just slip the covers over the seats without taking the factory seat cover fabric off, right?
I'm asking because I believe the leather kits are intended to be installed after you take the factory cloth seat surfaces off the seat.
