My 1997 Limited Home Built front bumper

OK guys, I helped a friend of mine build my front bumper and it turned out AWESOME to me. Hope you all like it.
It is built out of 2x6 tubing with 1/4" plate

After I added some Flush mounts

It was about 2/3-3/4 cheaper than the ARB. And I had a few things with the ARB that I didn't like.

I'll get the build pics up this afternoon. Asap.

I plan on doing a build thread on it tonight. As for cost, I'll run some numbers and put them in the build thread. I made a few templates to build another...

I too would make some light tabs and do a few tweaks as well. I love how it came out though.

Yeah please give us some more info. I have a buddy that told me if I figured out what I wanted he would teach me how to weld and make a front bumper for my lesson.

that's really cool to have a friend that will do that for you. I have an awesome friend that has done that for me on several ocasions

As for the cost, here in Arkansas the material would run about 250.00. Since this was the first bumper that we did for a 4runner (all the ones we have been doing were for jeeps) it took us about 7.5-8 hours to complete. Alot of head scratching asap I'll get some pictures up (the familly yard sale is this weekend)

add some holes in the top for lights and some mounting holes on the front for a winch and you'll be golden!

We could sell some but the shipping would be kinda nuts. I need to check with the shipping companies and see if they can be shipped reasonably.

As for the winch mount and light holes, I have been looking into the mounts to put on lights. I Prolly will use small angle. Once I get a winch we'll makethe setup for the mounting.
