My 1999 suspension is driving me crazy

I got a 99 limited 4x4 with 140k. If you look at my 4runner it looks like so many others with a saggy rear. Even my hitch ball and receiver carry basket have the rear lean while installed.

After reading topic after topic on rear sag and how great 99 springs are I decided to actually go measure mine. Drivers side is only 1/2" low in rear. Passenger side is just over 1" low in rear. Also noticed my front driver side and passenger side seem to not be level.

For starters, how do I level it side to side in the front?

Second, does anyone know if the rear is supposed to be level with front or have any rake?

I have been meaning to order the daystar 1.5" spacers for a while now, but am now scared to put them in due to possibly having to much rear lift and looking stupid!

Another possiblity is a complete small lift kit front and rear. My worry is still having rear droop after install is complete.

I'd suggest (if you're not too partial on a lift) is that you replace your springs with the tall 99 springs. My 99 was not equipped with them (lame!!) so instead of a lift and all that, I'm going with new 99 springs.

I was talking to Brandon (StickFigure) who recently did his, hopefully he will chime in. Seeing our 4Runners parked alongside each other showed his was way taller, keep in mind I have shorter springs and sag all around.

I'll be doing it when I get new shocks.

He also has 265/70/17s IIRC, so that too brought his truck to a mild and desirable height. Those are one size larger than my tires, a 33" tire I think

I had the same issue with my 1999 4Runner, V6, 4WD, SR5 recently. It drives fine but the lopsided-ness ( if there's such a word ) keeps me awake all night. A local independent mechanic quoted me $490 for both front and back springs and it's back to its normal stance again. I do not have the inclination to lift mine, so I can't contribute to your LIFT question.
