Well "build" could be too strongly worded but I do plan on making this thing my own over the next year.
The details: Black 2006 T4R Sport V8 4X4 w/122,500 miles. I bought it from one of my best friends who got it new in 2005. He just upgraded to a JX Infiniti and is already regretting the decision. Kids will make you do crazy things, and in this case my friend did the craziest of all - Sold his 4Runner!
I have a lot of history with these 4th Gen Trucks. I bought a 2007 Sport V6 4X4 off the lot but stupidly sold it 6 years later to someone who probably still think it drives perfectly (because it does). Got into a huge SUV that I hated from the start (QX56) and gave that to my wife after 2 years or driving a 5600lbs tank around. Ive wanted a particular sports car since the 8th grade (I'm now 39) and bought the newest gen of it in November 2014. I've been in the coupe for about 15 months and it is my daily but since buying the T4R all I want to drive is the Truck.
Turns out JA's build copied mine! Sue he did his in 2007 and I am doing mine now but Ill stick to that story. In all honesty the time and effort that dude put into his site is awesome. Big thanks to him if he happens to be reading this. Well done sir!

-HC Filter delete
-Center Console organizer
-New cargo net
-seat hooks for rear seat passengers (toddlers love these)
-Aukey Flush USB charger

-Light bulb set to replace burnt A/C lights
-LED set to replace interior lights (bought, but not installed)
-New Gas cap
-Toyota Hitch Plug in Black
-KeyGuardz Rubber key protector
Bigger Stuff (at shop this week getting done):
-Daystar 2.5/1.5 Spacer lift
-New Wrangler Duratracs 265/70/17
-1.5" Spidertrax spacers
-New Rotors and Brakes (hard time choosing these. Went with Powerstop)
Biggest Stuff:
OME? Bilstein? Nah.
That's it for now. I really wanted to do the complete OME lift but I really REALLY like the X-REAS and specifically bought a sport model for that suspension. If it goes out - GREAT - Ill do the suspension change then. If not, Ill likely wait 2 years and do a real lift with real tires at that time. This is about as big as I can go now and have my wife still enjoy driving it for her errands.

My wife hates it. Not because of the truck, but because of the time and money I've put into it this month. Truthfully, I am totally addicted to automobiles. It's a disease I want no cure for.
It's the best point A to B vehicle I have ever owned and prefer driving it to anything else in my driveway at the moment. Toyota built a near perfect SUV with the 4th Gen 4Runners and I feel very fortunate to be back in one. Now I need to peel myself away from the computer, this forum, amazon and cars in general or risk getting a divorce.
